Our experience as first home buyers has been simple and stress free, due to the support and assistance of Brendan and the team at C Finance. What an experience it is to purchase your first home. What do you need to have prepared? What should your budget look like? How much can you afford and how much do you need upfront? Also, what are you gong to need for the journey before you move into your house?

After a few false starts trying to find a broker that appeared honest and had a clue, we were finally guided towards Brendan Styles & from the very start, he wasn’t pushy and didn’t seem to want to just “close a sale”. He was cautious to understand our requirements as a family and realistic for the stage we are in our life.

The journey started with Brendan November 2016 after speaking to a builder and comparing house and land packages.  He assisted us in finding a balance between our dreams, reality and affordability of what we wanted and then how that would fit into our budget. After the initial consultation Brendan had an excellent understanding of our financial position & our families needs.  He formulated a budget that we were able to work with which actually ended up increasing our borrowing capacity!

A plan was set and after a few minor tweaks to the budget we met again to review our position May 2017. All the while Brendan checked in on us on a monthly basis to make sure we were on track for our plan. All was set and we were ready to go. Deposit ready, budget ready and paperwork ready to collect for the loan application.

Brendan and his team took care of everything. After putting together a summary of choices from different lenders and we agreed, he collected our paperwork and sent us everything we needed for the bank. No question was ignored or left unanswered. From midnight emails to calls throughout the day we made it through the process of our loan application until he was able to make the call to us that we had been approved and were ready to continue onto the building process. This was July 2017.

He was there to guide us through settlement, September 2017, and he explained the process as we proceeded onto the building stage. Brendan made sure everything was easy for us & kept us organised, ensuring we were aware of what to expect from the bank and what needed to be prepared. We are now at our final stage before moving in and can see our vision become reality. It is March 2018 and on reflection could not have gone through this process without Brendan and his team being on our side.  He was able to alleveaite stress from us not knowing the process that we would have to plan for.

We have felt very comfortable in our dealings with Brendan and his team and could not recommend him more. We used Brendan as our broker for the mortgage of our first house.  When we first made contact in our circumstances it almost seemed an impossible dream.  Brendan helped us jump through so many Hurdles - my husband is a subcontractor without enough tax returns to satisfy requirements.  So with two children, credit card debt, minimalistic savings, trying to obtain a mortgage on a bank assessed “single income”we weren’t very hopeful.
